Privacy Policy
BackThis Privacy Policy explains how Antonio Rico processes the personal data received through this website, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and Spain's Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD). If you have any questions about your data, you can email me at the address below.
Data controller
The controller of your data is Antonio Rico, with a professional address in Cardedeu (Barcelona, Spain) and a contact email at [email protected].
Data collected and purpose
Only the data you voluntarily provide — or data that's technically necessary for the site to work — is collected:
- Contact form data: name, email and message. Purpose: to reply to your enquiry and, if applicable, prepare a quote.
- Technical data captured automatically: IP address, browser, language and source page. Purpose: serve the site, prevent abuse and maintain security.
- Scheduling data: if you book a call or visit through the 'Schedule' button, whatever you enter is processed on Cal.com's platform.
- Cookie preferences: so you aren't asked again on every visit.
Legal basis
- Your consent when you submit the form, book an appointment or accept non-essential cookies (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
- Performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps you requested (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and preventing abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Recipients and processors
To deliver the service I share data with the following processors, all of which provide adequate GDPR safeguards:
International transfers
Some processors (Telegram, Cal.com, Google) are based outside the European Economic Area. Transfers are covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or by adequacy decisions where applicable.
Data retention
Data is kept for as long as the relationship or processing purpose remains and then for the periods required by law. Contact form messages are deleted 12 months after the last communication unless a commercial relationship has started.
Security measures
Appropriate technical and organizational measures are applied to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of your data, in line with Article 32 GDPR. The site runs over HTTPS and the contact form includes anti-spam protection.
Your rights
You can exercise the following rights at any time by emailing [email protected] with your name and the right you want to exercise:
- Access, rectification, erasure and portability of your data.
- Restriction of or objection to processing.
- Withdrawal of your consent, without retroactive effect.
- Lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) if you believe your rights have been infringed.
